APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University volleyball standout Kelly Mulcahy has been named to the All-Midwest Conference team for the third consecutive season.
A junior outside hitter from Glendale, Mulcahy was named to the second team. She earned first-team honors in 2005 and was a second-team pick in 2004.
The former Nicolet High School star averaged 4.12 kills per game in conference play and had a .182 hitting percentage. Mulcahy averaged 3.25 digs per game and 0.61 blocks per game. She also had 16 aces.
On the season, Mulcahy piled up 383 kills and averaged 3.30 per game. She also passed the 1,000-kill plateau for her career and became only the fourth player in school history to reach that mark.
The Vikings finished the season with a 9-23 record, including a 3-6 mark in conference play.
