APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University's Hanah McCarthy has been named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week.

The former standout at Bozeman High School started her season with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Danielle Racke of Knox College. McCarthy then defeated Monmouth College's Shauna Skowronski the following day. She kept her record perfect with a 6-3, 7-6 victory over Trisha Dorr of Concordia University of Wisconsin.

McCarthy and Lahtinen also posted a pair of 8-4 wins in doubles against Knox and Monmouth.
