APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University track and field standout Kolade Agbaje-Williams has been selected as the Midwest Conference Field Performer of the Week.
Agbaje-Williams, a senior from Evergreen Park, Ill., won one event and placed in two others at the Wisconsin Private College Championships this past Saturday.
A two-time All-American in the long jump, Agbaje-Williams won the triple jump with a leap of 44 feet, 4.25 inches. He also placed second in the long jump at 21-6 and took seventh in the 55 meters with a time of 6.77 seconds.
Led by Agbaje-Williams, the Vikings placed sixth in the team standings in the 10-team meet.
Lawrence is back in action on Saturday when it travels to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational.
