APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University track standout James Hahn has been chosen
as the Midwest Conference Track Performer of the Week.
Hahn, a junior from Madison, won one event and placed in another at the Wisconsin
Private College Championships this past Saturday.
The former star at Madison Memorial High School won the 400-meter hurdles in
56.87 seconds, which is the second-fastest time in that event in the conference
this season. Hahn also took third place in the 110-meter hurdles in 16.80 seconds.
Led by his effort, Lawrence took second place in the team standings in the 10-team
meet.
Lawrence returns to action on Saturday when it participates in the University
of Wisconsin Twilight Meet.
