APPLETON, Wis. -- Three Lawrence University players have been chosen for the
All-Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association squad, as chosen by league coaches.
Forward Ryan Blick, goaltender Andrew Isaac, and defenseman Josh Peterson were
all selected.
Blick, a senior from Canton, Mich., finished the season with nine goals and
23 assists for 32 points. He tied for ninth in the league at 1.31 points per
game.
Blick, who was an All-MCHA selection in 2003, ended his career as the school’s
career leader in points and assists. Blick, who attended Detroit Catholic Central
High School, finished with 103 points on 65 assists and 38 goals, which ranks
him third on Lawrence’s career list.
Isaac, a sophomore from Mississauga, Ontario, was chosen for the second straight
season. Isaac, who attended St. Michael’s College School, finished the
season with an 8-7-1 record and recorded a shutout, the second of his career.
He compiled a .912 save percentage, breaking the season record of .906 he set
last year, and a 3.66 goals against average, which is the second-best season
in school history.
Peterson, a freshman from Duluth, Minn., turned in a wonderful rookie campaign.
He finished with eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points. Peterson, a graduate
of Marshall High School, was third among defensemen in the league with four
goals and eight assists for 12 points.
