Getzoff was selected for the first team and Porrata earned second-team honors.
Getzoff (Evanston, Ill./Evanston), a freshman guard, led the conference in scoring at 17.2 points per game. On the season, Getzoff averaged 17.0 points and shot 42.4 percent from the floor, including 35.2 percent on 3-pointers. She ranked sixth in the league in shooting from beyond the arc at 35.9 percent.
Getzoff paced the team with 75 steals, the fifth-best season total in school history, and was second in the conference in steals at 2.44 per game. She also led the team with 61 assists and was second on the squad at 4.3 rebounds per game.
Getzoff was a constant throughout the season, leading the team in scoring in 15 of the season's 24 games. She scored a season-high 27 points twice, at Illinois College and at St. Norbert College. She also had a knack for the dramatic, hitting game-winning 3-pointers in the final seconds against Lake Forest College and Illinois College.
Porrata (Glenview, Ill./New Trier) was named to the second team for the second consecutive season. A sophomore forward, Porrata led the conference in rebounding at 8.6 per game and averaged 7.6 rebounds per game on the season.
Porrata was 15th in the conference in scoring, averaging 11.2 points per game both in the league and on the season.
She had a season-high 22 points and hit the game-winning jumper in the final seconds in Lawrence's 67-66 win over Ripon College on Feb. 4. She hit double figures in rebounds five times this season, including a career-high 18 rebounds against Beloit on Feb. 19.
The Player of the Year was St. Norbert's Stacy Ritter, and the Coach of the Year was Connie Tilley of St. Norbert.
Lawrence finished the season fourth in the Midwest Conference with a 10-6 record and completed the campaign with a 13-11 overall mark.
