Lawrence University fall athletes honored on Academic All-Midwest Conference team

APPLETON, WIS. - Thirty Lawrence University fall athletes have been named to the Academic All-Midwest Conference team.

To be eligible for the team, a student must have a grade point average of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale and have reached sophomore status.

The Lawrence women's soccer team had the largest number of honorees with seven players making the grade.

Representing men's cross country are:
Steven Hahn, sophomore, Glendale, physics major;
Peter Navis, senior, Naperville, Ill., government;
Paul Schonfeld, sophomore, Reedsburg, physics and geology.

Representing women's cross country are:
Valerie Curtis, senior, Shullsburg, physics and biology;
Carolynn Dude, senior, New Berlin, biochemistry;
April Evans, sophomore, Sioux City, Iowa, physics;
Kelly Scheer, sophomore, Lisbon, Iowa, biology;
Alexis Sexton, junior, Neenah, economics.

Representing football team are:
Momodu Maligi, junior, Arlington, Texas, government and philosphy;
Bill Schreiter, junior, Lockport, La., chemistry;
Justin Seaman, senior, Berlin, biology;
Nate Semenak, sophomore, Milwaukee, economics and psychology;
Ryan Zutter, senior, Colfax, economics.

Nick Heuer, sophomore, Davenport, Iowa, mathematics and French;
Brendan Marshall-Rashid, junior, Petosky, Mich., music;
