APPLETON, WIS. - Lawrence University swept the honors for Midwest Conference Swimmers of the Week, as Alison Van Dyken and Tom Towle were selected.

Van Dyken, a junior from Jenison, Mich., swam to victories in two events and was part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team, as Lawrence rolled to a victory over Carroll College and St. Norbert College in the Lawrence Triangular last Saturday. Van Dyken won the 50-yard freestyle in 25.61 seconds and captured the 100 freestyle in 56.09 seconds. The 200 freestyle relay won in 1:46.27.

Towle, a freshman from Mendota Heights, Minn., swept the 1- and 3-meter diving for the second consecutive meet. Towle, who won both events on Nov. 10 in a dual meet with the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, was again victorious in both last Saturday in a dual meet with Carroll College. Towle won the 1-meter with a score of 198.60 and took the 3-meter with 220.35.
