Blick, a sophomore from Canton, Mich., became the third consecutive Viking to be named the Player of the Week. The former star for the Ann Arbor Ice Dogs got his second career hat trick and an assist in Lawrence's 7-2 win at Northland College last Friday. He followed that up with a goal and three assists in the Vikings' 5-2 win over the Lumberjacks on Saturday.
For the season, Blick has 10 points on five goals and five assists.
Pfeiffelmann, a junior from Kalamazoo, Mich., made 22 saves to earn his first win of the season last Friday at Northland. Pfeiffelmann, who had three victories last season, lowered his goals against average to 4.50 and raised his save percentage to .827. He shared the award with Marian College goaltender Terry Dunbar.
Lawrence, which is in first place in the MCHA with a 3-1 record, sees its first home action of the season this weekend when the University of Minnesota-Crookston visits the Appleton Family Ice Center. Friday's game begins at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday's game starts at 2:00 p.m.
