Pollock turned in fine performances over the past two weekends to earn the honor.
At the Carleton College Classic Sept. 14-15, Pollock led Lawrence to a 2-2 record. The middle hitter from Urbana, Ill., compiled 78 kills with a .420 hitting percentage and added 25 digs, nine blocks, and four aces.
At last Saturday's Lawrence Triangular, the former standout at University High School piled up 38 kills with a .367 hitting percentage and added 23 digs in losses to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Lake Forest College.
Pollock, a second team All-Midwest Conference selection last season, leads the Vikings into the Midwest Conference Classic this weekend at Beloit College. The Vikings will take on the five South Division teams over two days of play.
