The senior goalkeeper from Oregon, Wis., earned the honor for her effort in a 2-1, double-overtime loss to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Sept. 18. The former standout at Oregon High School made an astounding 28 saves against the Titans. UW-Oshkosh fired 45 shots, including six in the two overtime periods.
Wilkin, who shut out Lake Forest College the previous week, has found her groove in the past two games. She has a 0.93 goals against average and a .946 save percentage in the last two matches. A two-time All-Midwest Conference selection, Wilkin lowered her goals against average to 2.33 and raised her save percentage to .864 for the season.
Lawrence is back in action today against Edgewood College and travels to St. Norbert College for a match on Sunday.
