Conti, a junior forward from Atlanta, Ga., earned the honor after the Vikings split a weekend series with the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Needing a victory in Saturday night's game to earn a berth in the MCHA Tournament, Conti rallied the Vikings from a 1-0 deficit on the road against the Raiders. Lawrence trailed 1-0 entering the third period, but Conti scored goals at the 6:19 and 9:09 marks to put the Vikings ahead to stay.
Conti, who is Lawrence's career leader in points and assists, is second on the team with 11 goals, seven assists, and 18 points.
The Vikings face the University of Minnesota-Crookston Friday in a 5 p.m. semifinal game at the MCHA Tournament. Northland College and Marian College will play in the other semifinal at 8 p.m. The winners meet for the title Saturday at 8 p.m., with the third-place game taking place at 5 p.m. All games will be played the Blueline Ice Center in Fond du Lac.
