Karen Nordell and Bruce Smith lead a week-long Summer Institute for Advanced Placement (AP) chemistry teachers, July11-15, 2005. Sixteen teachers from around Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota took part in the week. Bruce Smith, an experienced AP teacher from Appleton North, provided much of the practical advice and ‘how-to’ help for several of the teachers that were going to be teaching AP chemistry for the first time.
