Let Me Count the Ways

August 3, 2008 - Bjorklunden presents a staged reading of Let Me Count the Ways

On Sunday, August 3, at 7:30 p.m. at Lawrence University's Björklunden in Baileys Harbor there will be a staged reading of the play, Let Me Count the Ways. This play was adapted from, ‘Pleasure and Repentance’, a lighthearted look at love written by Terry Hands.

The performance will feature P.K. Allen ’65, a Drama major at Lawrence who went on to teach English, act, direct theatre and creative arts programs, develop and market music resources for elementary music programs and narrate for Connecticut Talking Books. Also featured is Megan Cole ’63, an English major at Lawrence who completed her doctoral study at Tufts-in-London. A professionally trained actor, Megan has performed in theatres across the country, from the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco to Hudson Guild in New York City, to Arena Stage in Washington, DC. She has also made TV appearances in shows such as Seinfeld, Judging Amy and Northern Exposure. Rounding out the cast is Ted Katzoff ’65, who also majored in Drama at Lawrence. Ted’s career in the arts has included Manager-Director of the Street Theatre Company, Producer and Director for Ring of Steel, choreography of the opening scene in Outrageous Fortune, as well as an instructor in theatre and fencing. Ted has done sword training for various TV and stage productions and has trained actors for film roles with swordplay – including Shelly Long, Keanu Reeves, Christopher Guest, Geena Davis Gabriel Byrne and Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman for the film Hook.

This performance will take place in Vail Hall at Lawrence University's Björklunden in Baileys Harbor. Admission is free. No reservations necessary – open seating. For more information please call 920-839-2216.
