2008 Björklunden Seminars

Information
Seminar participants may either reside at Björklunden or commute from the area. We also accept house guests who reside on the estate but do not participate in seminars.

• Seminar participants choose only one seminar for each week of attendance.
• Seminars starting on Sunday begin with dinner on Sunday evening.
• Most seminars end Friday after lunch, and include a fish boil Thursday evening.
• Other seminars end Saturday after breakfast and include a Friday night fish boil. Guests of these seminars are invited to sample local cuisine on Thursday evening, our chef ’s night off.
• Classes usually meet weekday mornings and some evenings, leaving the remaining time free.
• Smoking is allowed only on the patios.
• All rooms have private baths. Linens are furnished. Gratuities are not included.

Fees
Residents

• For weeks ending Saturday morning: $750 per person,
  double occupancy; $1,050, single occupancy
• For weeks ending Friday afternoon: $690 per person,
  double occupancy; $925, single occupancy

This all-inclusive fee covers tuition, books, most supplies, lodging,
and meals.

Commuters

• $325. This fee covers tuition, books, most supplies, Sunday dinner,
  and all lunches.

Other meals charged separately.

House Guests

• For weeks ending Saturday morning:
  $525 per person, double occupancy; $825, single occupancy
• For weeks ending Friday afternoon:
  $500 per person, double occupancy; $725, single occupancy

This fee covers lodging and meals only. First preference on housing
is given to seminar participants.

Deposits and Terms
A deposit of $350/resident, $150/commuter, or $250/houseguest per
seminar is due when you make your reservation. The balance is due 30 days
prior to your arrival. Registrants who cancel their reservations more than 30
days in advance of their arrival date will receive a full refund, less a $35 per
person processing fee. Those canceling with less than 30 days notice will
receive a refund of all but $150.
