Responsibilities

To promote interest in ArtsBridge among faculty and students in their departments, provide information on ArtsBridge policies and procedures, and serve as liaison with the ArtsBridge director.

To attend ArtsBridge orientations, conferences, exhibitions, performances, and ceremonies as time permits.

To observe their department’s scholars’ teaching at school sites, provide feedback to them, and turn in observation reports to the directors.

To observe each assigned scholar at least once per project round, reporting on each group of students that the scholar teaches, and submit a Faculty Mentor Evaluation.

To dialogue with assigned scholars about individual projects by email, phone or meetings once a week, or as needed.

To review and provide feedback on lessons and weekly project plans.

To assist in the recruitment of new scholars by offering meetings to promote and provide information on ArtsBridge to potential scholars in your arts department.
