Most Lawrence Students attend at least one term off campus. First term is usually the best option (Lawrence is on a trimester system, do the timing lines up the best with other programs). Students should spend their final three terms before graduation on campus, but exceptions to this rule are not uncommon. Lawrence has many already established off-campus connections, but again, if you find an ideal program elsewhere, transfer credit can be done. Common programs for the anthropology department include ACM Chicago Urban Studies, Tanzania, and Costa Rica.
