In order to process a registration for music lessons, an annual non-refundable registration fee of $25 per student or $40 per family must be received with the first tuition payment in the fall. All students enrolling in the fall semester are registered for the full school year and will be billed for the second semester in late fall.

*Lawrence Universtiy operates on a three-term schedule beginning in late September. Private lesson schedules with either Conservatory of Music faculty, by audition only, or student teachers will be mutually established between teacher and student and billed on a prorated basis.

 

Payment schedule

Payment is due in advance of each session of lessons or classes. Payment may be made by cash or check made payable to Lawrence Academy of Music. We also accept VISA and MasterCard. Your canceled check or credit card statement is your receipt.

An installment payment plan for private lessons and ensembles is available by request at the time of registration for an $8 per semester surcharge. All ensemble fees for the year are due prior to the fall concert and are refundable only for family emergency or moving out of the area.

Payments received after the scheduled due date will be subject to an additional late charge of $20.

Tuition refunds will be considered only when full tuition and fees have been paid and the student withdraws before the halfway point of the semester.

 

Returning students

Returning students will be sent materials in the spring to register for the following school year. A $50 nonrefundable deposit due June 1 will be required to secure your spot with your teacher for the following school year. The deposit will be applied to tuition due and subtracted from the first bill.

Financial Assistance

It is our goal that no motivated student who has a serious desire to pursue musical studies be denied such opportunity due to family financial circumstances. Need-based tuition assistance is available. A special grant from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction allows the Academy to award special scholarships to students from low-income families. Please use the forms below to request assistance, or call the Academy office at 920-832-6632 for forms and information.
