
Spend a fun-filled week this summer exploring jazz, piano, chamber music or band music at four camps sponsored by Lawrence Academy of Music. All music camps are held on the Lawrence University campus in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Chamber Music Odyssey July 14-18, 2008
Chamber Music Odyssey is a day camp for motivated string and piano students ages 11-18 looking to broaden their musical experiences by exploring the repertoire and techniques of chamber music literature.
Piano Odyssey July 14-18, 2008
Piano Odyssey day camp is for the motivated student of the piano, ages 8-16, looking to explore this fantastic instrument in greater depth.
Music Camp July 20-26, 2008
Perform in a band, study with faculty from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music and Academy of Music, attend concerts and recitals, and enjoy a week of recreational activities at a residential band camp for middle and high school woodwind, brass and percussion instrumentalists. A commuter option is available.
Jazz Odyssey July 27-August 1, 2008
Jazz Odyssey day camp, open to both middle and high school students, provides
hands-on experience with jazz improvisation in small group settings.
