Welcome to Lawrence University's Telephone System! We hope this reference guide will answer the immediate questions you may have regarding telephone services here at Lawrence.

Please note: As of June 2008 Lawrence will no longer provide a phone jack in student rooms. At this point students will need to provide their own means for making long distance calls and receiving calls on campus. LU hallway and outside phones will continue to be available for outbound calls to on-campus numbers, local area numbers, toll free numbers, as well as for emergencies. In student rooms where there is limited to no cell reception Lawrence will consider placing a phone line for emergency purposes only. This phone line will only be able to place 911 and campus calls. Requests should be forwarded to the Helpdesk.

See Personal Calling to learn about multiple personal calling options.

If you require additional assistance with telephone services, please call the ITS Helpdesk at 832-6570 or stop by our offices in room 201 of the Library. We would be happy to assist you.
