Configure Your Computer for the LU Network

Please follow the below steps in order to connect your personal computer to the Lawrence University Network. It is important that you first connect to the wired network from your room or at the Helpdesk. After completing registration with a wired connection, you may then configure your computer to connect to the network wirelessly. If you have questions or difficulty with these instructions, please contact the ITS HelpDesk.

1. Verify hardware requirements.
2. Verify that your operating system is current; Download any updates.
3. Verify current Antivirus Software definitions. If you do not have Antivirus Software, install the free, LU-provide Antivirus Software.
4. Configure your computer and register for the LU Network (the following instructions are .pdf files): Windows Vista | Windows XP | Macintosh OS X
