Public Access Computers and Related Equipment
Computers:
- 12 networked Windows stations in study cubicles on floors 2, 3, and 4 (access by "star key" only).
- 15 networked Windows stations on the main floor for research, limited Internet access, and Webmail.
- 5 networked Windows stations for media center research and 1 standalone station for interactive media and DVD use in the Media Center.
Network Connections:
- Numerous wired network connections on study tables for use with personal laptops.
- Wireless network connection is available throughout the library. Click here for connection instructions.
Printers:
- 3 networked black and white laser printers.
Copiers:
- 1 color copier near the Reference Area with a per copy/side fee. Rates are as follows:
8 ½" x 11" sheet black/white $0.10 per side printed 8 ½" x 11" sheet color $0.50 per side printed 11" x 17" sheet black/white $0.20 per side printed 11" x 17" sheet color $1.00 per side printed
Scanners:
- 2 color scanners connected to networked, Windows computers - one in the Media Center and another in the ITC.
Information Technology Center
The Information Technology Center (ITC) is a fully equipped computer lab with 16 Windows and 4 Macintosh computers. The ITC is primarily a teaching lab which is used for both faculty and staff training as well as some student classes.
The ITC is open to faculty, staff, and students when a class or training session is not scheduled. A daily schedule is available on a white board just outside the ITC or by inquiring with the Helpdesk. To reserve the facility for a training or class session, contact the Helpdesk.
Note: All computers and related equipment in the library and ITC are available during library hours.
