Alex Norris ('13)

Alex is a senior tuba performance major from Rochester, NY. He plays tuba in ensembles on campus includng Wind Ensemble, a brass quintet, HMELU (a student-run heavy metal ensemble), sousaphone in the Union St. Brass Band, and double bass in the Jazz Workshop; Outside of the conservatory, he has interests in economics and technology, and is the current president of the LU chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

Will Evans ('13)

Will is an economics major, and still plays in the tuba euphonium ensemble and brass choir. He has worked on tech crew at the Warch Campus Center and has rowed varsity all four years.

Matt Gunby ('14)

Matt is a senior from Mercer Island, Washington pursuing a B.M. in Music Theory/Composition and a minor in Government. He plays euphonium in Lawrence ensembles as well as guitar in a jazz combo and in the campus bands "Porky's Groove Machine" and "And How!". He has composed several works for brass ensembles, including a piece for the Lawrence University Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble.

Trevor Litsey ('14)

Kevin Specht ('14)

Kevin Specht, a native of Palos Hills, Illinois went to Amos Alonzo Stagg High School. On campus, Kevin writes the Specht Pages, his column in the school paper, hosted a radio show for WLFM, founded the Secret Order of Kevins, and participates in the Lawrence Christian Fellowship. Kevin has been a member of the Lawrence Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, and the Jazz Workshop. Kevin has commissioned a number of pieces for tuba and has performed two recitals. Apart from his studies and activities, he also partakes in good, clean shenanigans such as bike riding, cooking, composing, and other various tomfoolery. Kevin majors in both Music Education and Music Performance.

Aleeh is a sophomore from Neenah, Wisconsin pursuing a B.A. of Music. She has played tuba in Symphonic Band, Brass Choir, and the Boldt Way Brass Quintet. She is an active member of Sigma Alpha Iota and Lawrence Baroque Ensemble.
