Live from the Chapel!
Lawrence University's student-operated Internet radio station – WLFM – provides audio streaming service for our live webcasts.
These performances are made possible, in part, by friends of the Lawrence Conservatory of Music and The Lawrence Fund. Learn how you can support future conservatory performances.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to listen to the live webcasts on my computer?
You will need an Icecast-compatible player (we suggest either iTunes or Winamp), and a broadband connection is strongly recommended.
Attention, Mac users:
If iTunes does not automatically launch when you click on LISTEN, please follow these instructions to access the live webcast:
- Open iTunes.
- Click on "Advanced" on the top menu bar and select "Open Stream".
- A window will pop up. Enter "http://wlfm.lawrence.edu:8000/live.m3u" and hit OK.
Why are the webcasts available only as AUDIO webcasts?
Cost and quality are the main factors driving our decision to keep the webcasts audio-only for now. This does not rule out Lawrence streaming video webcasts sometime in the future.
Why are the webcasts available only for large ensemble performances in the Chapel?
Firstly, the Chapel is set up for webcasts whereas our other performance spaces are not. Secondly, we do not have the resources to webcast all 300++ music performances during the year, so we focus on webcasting our large ensemble performances, because these concerts feature the most students.
