Mission
The Dance Program is integral to the liberal arts at Lawrence; it expands modes of thinking, enriches the study of performance, and develops cultural literacy among Lawrence students
With the addition of Dance to the Conservatory in Fall, 2011, Lawrence students are encouraged to expand their study of performance to include a developed and directed physical practice as well as an understanding of dance scholarship. The Dance Program includes studio and classroom courses and features frequent guest teachers and performers.
