Similar to the successful LU-R1 internship program in the sciences, Conservatory2 provides Lawrence conservatory students with summer internship experiences that directly complement and accelerate their education, as well as provide substantial career experience and networking opportunities to begin “life after Lawrence NOW!” The Lawrence Conservatory is excited to offer these amazing opportunities.
For our initial year there will be up to eight internships available in a variety of musical career fields. The opportunities will be awarded through an application process. A faculty panel will make the final selections. Each selected student will receive a stipend to defray travel costs and living expenses (see internship descriptions for exact amounts). For this initial year, the timeline is short. Applications are due by 8PM on January 31st.
