Travel and Accommodations

Lawrence University is located in Appleton, Wisconsin, a city at the heart of the Fox Cities metropolitan area in the northeast section of the state. Appleton is approximately thirty minutes south of Green Bay and 2 hours north of Milwaukee. It is 3 1/2 hours driving distance from the Loop in downtown Chicago and 5 1/2 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Air Transportation

The Outagamie County Regional Airport is five miles from campus on the west end of College Avenue. The airport is served by United Express via Chicago; Northwest Airlink via Detroit and Minneapolis/St. Paul; Comair (Delta) via Cincinnati and Atlanta; and Midwest Connect (Midwest and SkyWest Airlines) via Milwaukee. Taxi service to downtown Appleton hotels is available at the airport and the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel offers a hotel shuttle on a call basis.

Driving Directions

From north or south of Appleton, take Hwy. 41 to the College Avenue exit and proceed east four miles through downtown Appleton to the campus. Those traveling from the west on Hwy. 10 will connect with the Hwy. 441 bypass. Take the Oneida Street exit and proceed north to College Avenue. Take College Avenue east through downtown Appleton. Accommodations
