GEMS: Girls Exploring Math and Science
The PRYSM program will host a GEMS day on Lawrence's campus for high school girls (grades 9-12) on Saturday February 4th, 2006. The GEMS day activities will include several hands-on science and math work shops hosted by Lawrence faculty and students. There is a $5 fee to participate in this GEMS day. On Saturday, February 4th, registration starts at 8:30am with the program starting at 9:00am. The GEMS program will include a lunch in Lawrence's Downer Commons - Dining Room C and finishes at 3:00pm. From 3:00 - 4:00 pm there will be a reception for parents including several informational sessions running from 3:15 - 3:45 pm.
