EAA AirVenture Accommodations

Lawrence University has hosted EAA participants in its dormitories for many years. For those of you who have stayed with us before, we appreciate your patronage. To new and continuing participants, we look forward to welcoming you to Lawrence during EAA 2009.

• Lawrence University is located 25 miles north of Oshkosh, in the downtown Appleton area. We are within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops.
• There is a shuttle service to the air show departing directly from the University bus stop. This shuttle is furnished by Nationwide Travelers (www.nationwidetravelers.com). Please check their Web site for the cost of the shuttle.
• Each morning of the convention an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast will be offered on campus at no additional cost.

CHECK IN:

• When you arrive at Lawrence, go directly to the hall listed in your confirmation letter. There will be a desk clerk on duty 24 hours a day to assist you as you check in.
• Payment is due for any remaining balance of your room fee when you check in. We accept traveler's checks, money orders, cash, and personal checks-U.S. residents only. CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

ROOM INFORMATION:

• The room rate includes: sheets/bed pillow, soap and towels. We do NOT offer a daily linen change, so you may wish to bring a few extra towels from home, depending on the length of your stay.
• The University does NOT have items such as fans, lamps, cots, or mattresses for you to rent.
• Hiett Hall
  All rooms are air-conditioned.  Rooms consist of singles (1 single bed), doubles (2 single beds), suites (2 rooms with 2 single beds in each with a shared bathroom) and quads (2 rooms with 2 single beds in each with a shared bathroom and sitting room). There are a very limited number of single and double rooms with private baths available.
  If requesting a Double room with private bath PLEASE STATE THAT ON THE RESERVATION FORM.  All other requests for double rooms WILL BE BOOKED in suites or quads.
  
• Colman Hall
  Rooms are NOT air-conditioned. Rooms consist of singles (1 single bed), and doubles (2 single beds). There are sinks in the rooms. Restrooms and shower facilities are on each floor, one bathroom for females and another for males. There are no private bathrooms available. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is located in Lucinda’s on the first floor of Colman Hall, and is included in the cost of the room.

HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION:

1. Complete the reservation form below. Mail the form along with your first night's non-refundable deposit, for each room, to the address listed below. We cannot hold your reservation until we receive your deposit. We will only reserve rooms for at least a two-night stay. PLEASE NOTE - YOUR DEPOSIT IS NONREFUNDABLE.

2. If for any reason your stay with us will not be the length originally specified, please contact us. If your plans change during your stay, please let the desk clerk know.
   
   Guests will be required to fill out a refund slip verified by the desk clerk. All refunds will be mailed. Desk clerks cannot issue cash refunds.
3. After we receive your reservation form and deposit, a letter will be sent to you confirming the receipt of your deposit, dorm assigned, and the balance due. When you arrive at your assigned dorm in July, the desk clerk will collect your balance then give you a room key.
