1. Report from the Web Steering Committee
   Gilbert reported on the Committee's meeting. Netcasters will be on campus on March 7 and 8 to do card sorting user testing.

   The Committee also discussed using Google's university search to replace our current search engine, at least as an interim solution. The WWG was enthusiastic.

2. Accessibility issues
   Gilbert ranted and raved about web accessibility issues. Specifically, we discussed the use of ALT tags for images and some implications of not using them. Some links:

3. The Great Circle
   Gordon reported that he's working on posting some Lawrence Today content to the web site.

   We approved of Katie's directions to Lawrence while College Ave is in chaos (http://www.lawrence.edu/admissions/visit/new_directions.shtml).

   Cara's working on reunion sites and posting class photos.

   Sara will be doing the March Arts Academy newsletter and is working on ways of posting it to the web.

   Marsha will be working on a "handicap access map" (like this: http://www.lawrence.edu/dept/student_acad/disability_services/accessmap.jpg, but better).

   Gilbert reported on new additions to the Professional Development page (http://www.lawrence.edu/dept/faculty_dean/dev/)
