
Women's tennis has enjoyed a history of success since reaching varsity status in 1974, winning seven league championships and two Midwest Conference titles. A member of the Midwest Conference since 1983, the Vikings had finished among the top four teams at the league tournament eight times by 1994, winning 13 singles championships and six doubles crowns in that span.

Lawrence shoots down Red Hawks to win North Divison title
The Lawrence women's tennis routed Ripon 9-0 on Thursday and captured the Midwest Conference North Division title in the process. The Vikings finished unbeaten in conference play and will be the top seed from the North Division in the Midwest Conference Team Tournament on Oct. 17. Vikings shut out Bucs, top Monmouth 
The Lawrence women's tennis team shut out Beloit 9-0 on Saturday and took a 6-3 decision from Monmouth. The Vikings improved to 3-0 in Midwest Conference North Division play with the win over Beloit, and are in the driver's seat to win the division. More ...
