Wrestling

The Lawrence University wrestling team regularly competes with the top teams in the nation and joined the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 2002. The Vikings began practice in October and the season culminates with the NCAA Division III Championships in March.

The Vikings have become one of the nation's most respected programs under the guidance of head coach Dave Novickis. Lawrence has sent wrestlers to the NCAA Championships 12 of the last 13 seasons, had one national champion, and five All-Americans. The Vikings have also had at least one wrestler earn Scholar All-America honors every year since 1994.
