Drew Shaw's 3-pointer cut the St. Norbert lead to 29-17 with 1:20 left in the opening half, and Dustin Lee then rimmed out a 3-pointer that would have cut the lead to nine. Peterson countered by hitting a 3-pointer for St. Norbert to give the Green Knights a 32-17 lead at the break.
Lawrence battled back early in the second half and cut the lead to nine twice, the last coming on Jon Mays' layup with 12:31 left. That's as close as the Vikings would get, and St. Norbert would build the lead back to as many as 18 points in the second half.
