ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Bethel University hockey team scored the game's first three goals and went on to a 4-1 nonconference victory Monday over Lawrence University.

The loss snaps a six-game win streak for Lawrence (9-8-0).

After Jon Sacks was whistled for holding midway through the third period, the Royals cashed in on the power play when Kyle Dynan scored at 11:29. Bethel was 1-for-4 on the man-advantage, and Lawrence was 0-for-4.

Lawrence cut the lead to 3-1 when Josh DeSmit took a pass from Matt Hughes and beat Bethel goaltender Patrick Kiely at 15:37.

The Vikings pulled goaltender Evan Johnson late, but Bethel's Kyler Moje got an empty-net goal with 34 seconds left to complete the scoring.
