About Us
The Freshman Study Resources site is brought to you by the Faculty, Alumni Office, and the Networking Committee of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Tim Spurgin - Associate professor of English and Bonnie Glidden Buchanan Professor of English Literature, and current chair of the Freshman Studies department. Tim coordinated the compilation of the reading guides for this website. A graduate of Carleton College, and the University of Virginia, Tim has been at Lawrence since 1990.
Emily Alinder '09 - Emily played a very large role in composing and editing the reading guides for this website. Emily is currently a junior at Lawrence University. She is an English major who enjoys creative writing and is considering going into library science after graduating. Emily is from the home of the Jolly Green Giant -- Le Sueur, Minnesota. Don't you just love those peas and sweet corn?
