Marjorie Bliese Gluckstein '50

Ageless Piano Classics - Volume 1 cover

Ageless Piano Classics – Volume 1, a new CD by pianist Marjorie Bliese Gluckstein, has recently been released. The CD contains shorter works by Bach, Schumann, Schubert, Ravel, Chopin, and Liszt and demonstrates both the enthusiasm and warmth of the compositions and the breadth and depth of the piano and its music. The pianist holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Lawrence University (1950), where she was a student of Gladys Ives Brainard, and a Masters of Music (1951) from the University of Michigan, where she studied with Benning Dexter. Now retired, she taught and performed for many years and continues to perform at smaller venues.

The CD is available online at www.cdbaby.com/gluckstein.
