Complete College of Arts and Sciences Placement Exams

Students may be placed into a more advanced course on the basis of a placement exam or credit earned through an AP or IB exam, or transfer credit from another college or university.

New students are encouraged to take Lawrence placement exams in all areas of prior study, especially World Languages (e.g. French, German, Russian, or Spanish - see department pages), Math (calculus), or Chemistry, even if they have no current plans to continue in that subject.

Explore Spiritual and Religious Life Resources

The Office of Spiritual and Religious Life provides a welcoming and supportive environment for spiritual and religious explorations and expressions of faith.  Programs, services, and student groups bring the Lawrence community together for educational opportunities, multifaith conversations around critical topics, campus ceremonies, and religious services and celebrations.
