What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission?

I sat in on Kathy Privatt’s Acting 1 class and was amazed by how well she knew her students as performers. Acting 1 is usually a mix of non majors and majors and she responded to everyones performance equally and really tried to push the class as a whole. The financial aid was pretty sweet too.

What is an interesting/helpful fact you learned about LU after you came here?

1.)Talk to your professors, seriously. 2.) Don’t eat anything at Downer that’s usually expensive (i.e. quail or mussels).

What is your favorite part about being a Lawrentian?

Bjorklunden and Spring term.

What is your fondest memory of your roommate from freshman year?

It would probably have to be the day Erin and I placed Easter Eggs in random spots all over campus, a week after Easter. Or any time spent with our Beyonce cut out.

Downer, Lucy’s, or Union Grill, and Downer dining room A, B, or C?

I’m a fan of Downer B. I like the food at Downer better than Lucy’s and I feel that A is to high traffic and C is to mellow but B is perfect. I also don’t want to be that close to the ice cream machine.

Where is your favorite study spot?

Main Hall green spring term.

If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

Toblerone, because I appreciate the design aesthetic of its packaging. It’s also good.

What was your favorite theme party thrown this year at LU, and what did you dress as?

It’s a tough call but I really liked the stereotype party. I was going to go as a chimney sweep but then my friend reminded me that that was a job and not a stereotype, so I went as a video girl.

What is something LU helped you learn about yourself?

LU has taught me the value of myself as an individual. If you go to LU chances are there’s something about you that sets you apart from the masses. LU really taught me to highlight what is different about me and view it as an asset.
