What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission? |
The prospect of working both in music and in academics, and that both programs were equally strong. When I visited, I was especially impressed by the professors—both their skill and their personalities. |
Who is your favorite professor at LU? |
Julie McQuinn in the Music History department, because she’s incredibly smart and incredibly fun at the same time. |
What is your favorite part about being a Lawrentian? |
As a Lawrentian, I know the tremendous value of the education I’m receiving and of the relationships I’m building with other students and with faculty. That’s my favorite thing about being a Lawrentian. |

Which is your favorite resident hall? |
I love Hiett because of the view and because of the roomy, bright rooms. |
Downer, Lucy’s, or Union Grill, and Downer dining room A, B, or C? |
Lucy’s. The view and I think the food is generally better. Plus they bus the tables for you! |
What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton? |
I love to just go to Barnes and Noble and browse the books. |

If you were a fruit, which would you be? |
Persimmon, because it’s got a cool name. |
If you were a crayon or paint swatch, what color would you be? |
I would be a weird murky green. And I would probably call it Spinach Sputum or something like that. |
If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose? |
Nutrageous, because they’re delicious, of course. |
