What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission? |
I love that I am a conservatory major, but I still have a well-rounded liberal arts curriculum. I like the balance between the college and the conservatory, and the size of the classes in both schools. |
Who is your favorite professor at LU? |
Patrice Michaels- Associate Professor of Voice. I absolutely love Patrice. She is my voice teacher, but she also is one of the most engaging and well-rounded people I have ever met. She never ceases to amaze me. Philip Swan- Assistant Director of Choral Studies. He works miracles with our choir and is one of the most inspiring directors. |
What is an interesting/helpful fact you learned about LU after you came here? |
During the cold weather, it can be bearable if you wear layers! |

Which is your favorite resident hall? |
Sage Hall- I love that all grade levels live in this dorm. This way, freshmen meet many upperclassmen and learn how to open up to people not just in their grade level. I love the atmosphere that comes with Sage. |
Where is your favorite study spot? |
The Milwaukee-Downer room in the library (on the first floor with all of the original copies of books) |

If you were a crayon or paint swatch, what color would you be? |
I would be “magenta” because it is a bold color with lots of energy. I am enthusiastic about everything that I do. I am extremely outgoing, but I am also a great listener. Magenta is a color that is very present and prepared to take on the world. |
What is an uncommon hobby you have, and why do you like it? |
I SCUBA dive—I am a master diver. I love being able to explore a world that is unknown to so many. I love learning about all of the different types of marine wildlife. I also love the bond that becomes present after diving with a certain group of people. |
