What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission?

The lesson I had with the cello professor, Janet Anthony, was a big part of my decision. Also, the financial aid package that I received was hard to refuse.

Who is your favorite professor at LU?

Mr. McCardell, a theory professor, is my favorite professor at Lawrence. He is always willing to help his students outside of the classroom. He does so much to help his students succeed.

What is an interesting/helpful fact you learned about LU after you came here?

I did not know about the Center for Teaching and Learning until I came to LU. I frequently used the tutoring facilities at the CTL during my first term in freshman studies.

Which is your favorite resident hall?

My favorite resident hall is Plantz Hall. I had so much fun living there as a freshman. I love the community it had and the friends I made there.

What is something you wish you would have brought with you freshman year?

I wish I had an elevator freshman year! Plantz hall does not have an elevator and it would have come in handy for those months I spent on crutches!

What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton?

My favorite thing to do off campus is to see performances at the Performing Arts Center on College Ave.

If you were a fruit, which would you be?

If I were a fruit, I would be a cherry. This is only because I love cherries, they are my favorite fruit!

If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

If I could eat Reese Peanut Butter cups for a living I would! I don’t know who first put peanut butter and chocolate together, but they were a genius!

What is something LU helped you learn about yourself?

I definitely have better time management skills because of LU.
