What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission? |
My visit to Lawrence coupled with my generous financial aid package were the deciding factors of my choice to attend Lawrence. When visiting campus, I could see myself as a student here, more so than anywhere else I had visited. |
Who is your favorite professor at LU? |
English Department Professor Goldgar. Anyone who doesn’t love him clearly hasn’t met him. |
What is your favorite part about being a Lawrentian? |
I love the progressive yet relaxed campus atmosphere, which can be seen in the staff, faculty, and my fellow Lawrentians. |

What is your fondest memory of your roommate from freshman year? |
Freshman year, my roommate Jamie and I were absolutely crazy and inseparable. We stayed up talking and giggling until the early hours of the morning on our second night as roommates. As roommates still, things are pretty much the same. |
Downer, Lucy’s, or Union Grill, and Downer dining room A, B, or C? |
Definitely Lucy’s. Though the options are more limited, the staff and the dining hall itself give off a friendly feeling unmatched by the other dining halls. The buffet line, the homemade cookies, the fact that you don’t have to clear your dishes, and the mints at the door all set Lucy’s apart from the usual dining hall experience. |

If you were a fruit, which would you be? |
I would be a mango, colorful and difficult to get to the core of. I also really like mangos. |
What is an uncommon hobby you have, and why do you like it? |
I can’t really think of any uncommon hobbies per se, but I use a typewriter to write letters. |
What was your favorite theme party thrown this year at LU, and what did you dress as? |
The nearly naked party, at which I (rather embarrassingly) wore a plastic bag that said I ? Sydney on it, paired with tights and a plastic bag skirt. |
