Who is your favorite professor at LU?

Mr. Smith was my second term Freshman Studies teacher. He is actually part of the Religious Studies department. He was my favorite teacher this year because of all the help he gave the class in writing and all the good discussions we had in class.

What is the best course you’ve taken at LU?

International Relations within the Government department. I loved the model UN we did at the end of the term as well as all of the information on global politics and its affect on the U.S. and its relationship with the rest of the world.

What one thing would you say is “The Lawrence Difference”?

Being able to explore all your different interests but at the same time have a tight knit community to come home to.

What is your fondest memory of your roommate from freshman year?

I remember going out for Sushi for the first time with her and decorating the room for her birthday. We had a lot of fun just chillin’ and watching Edward Norton movies.

Where is your favorite study spot?

My favorite study spot is Ormsby lounge with my friends. Sometimes we don’t get work done but it’s where I met some of my first really good friends.

What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton?

I love going to go get coffee at the different cafes with my friends after studio or after a meeting. Getting the Death By Chocolate cake at CopperRock was definitely a tradition after any flute performance. It’s delicious.

If you were a crayon or paint swatch, what color would you be?

If I was a crayon color it would have to be Tangerine. If I had to dye my hair a color it would be Tangerine. It’s just a wonderful color. And it’s fun to say.

If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

I would definitely choose Charleston Chews. They have three different flavors and they taste different if you freeze them before you eat them. Plus you can chew them for long periods of time.

What is an uncommon hobby you have, and why do you like it?

I collect buttons. I guess I just like small shiny objects. I have hundreds in jars in my room. I also love sailing but that’s not very uncommon.
