What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission?

I was looking for a school where I could get a serious academic education, as well as outstanding music education. The double degree program that allows students to experience both academics and music made Lawrence an ideal fit for me.

What one thing would you say is “The Lawrence Difference”?

Being able to walk from the Conservatory to Downer and always find a friend to talk to and sit with.

What is an interesting/helpful fact you learned about LU after you came here?

I think that you really can’t understand the power of one on one professor interactions until you experience them firsthand on campus.

What is something you wish you would have brought with you freshman year?

The overhead lighting can get depressing, so more lamps to add light to the room.

Downer, Lucy’s, or Union Grill, and Downer dining room A, B, or C?

Downer, B line – I like the healthy deli options!

What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton?

Heading to Brewed Awakenings to sit and hangout with friends and drink the best Mexican Hot Chocolate!

If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

Reeses Peanut Butter Cups are the greatest candy in the world!!!

What was your favorite theme party thrown this year at LU, and what did you dress as?

On Halloween a friend and I both dressed as Voice Professors – it was tons of fun!

What is something LU helped you learn about yourself?

I think that Lawrence has really helped me to figure out what it takes for a community to really work well together. Our school environment is one of a kind and works well because we all know how to accept each others differences.
