| What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission?: | People at Lawrence seemed happier than the students at other schools. Because students love being here, there's great support at student recitals, lectures, etc. |
| What is the best course (and its department) that you have taken? Why?: | Right now, despite not being a major/minor, I am loving Intro to Gender Studies with Professor Boyd-Kramer and Professor Wegehaupt. It's really a class that changes the way you view your life, and helps you to reevaluate and defend your beliefs. I really wish more people would take it, as discussions about class always seem to spark the best kind of debates. |
| What is an interesting/helpful fact you learned about LU after you came here?: | Appleton really never feels too small with so much going on campus! |
| What is your favorite part about being a Lawrentian?: | I love being a part of a network of kind, open-minded, and passionate people. Lawrentians really know how to balance fun with academics. |
| What is something you wish you would have brought with you freshman year?: | Coming from southern CA, warm clothes, that's for sure! |
| What do you find most exciting about the new Campus Center?: | I love that everyone eats in the same place and at the relatively same time. It's nice to see and be around people that you may not normally see in class, dorms, etc. |
| What is your favorite study spot on campus?: | I love studying in bed (probably not the most productive idea), but I love studying outside on the grass when the weather is nice. |
| What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton?: | I love just taking walks down College Ave. There's always shops to browse and treats to buy on the way back. |
| If you were a crayon or paint swatch, what color would be you? Why?: | I can't think of a witty name, but it would be the color turquoise with glitter in it. Anyone who knows me/has been to my room knows my obsession with the color. |
| If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose?: | Sour gummy worms! Bright, colorful, with a bit of a bite. |
| What is an uncommon hobby you have? Why do you like it?: | I have a fascination with all things vintage. I have a working typewriter, record player, and the majority of my closet is vintage/thrifted. I love collecting these items because it's fun to imagine the story/history behind each object. |
