| What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission? | My decision to come here was based on very superficial things: distance from home, financial aid and general religious/political atmosphere (relatively liberal). When you are deciding what college to go to, sometimes those are the only factors you have to consider. Once I got here, though, everything I did and experienced became another reason why I said "yes" to Lawrence. |
| What is the best course (and its department) that you have taken? Why? | Though maybe not the best course, Art History Survey I was one of the most eye opening classes I've taken here. I took it to satisfy my fine arts general education requirement, but it turned out to be a lot like an anthropology class. I learned about different cultures and how their art reflected the political and social themes at the time. It was great to see how such seemingly different subjects could be connected so closely. |
| What is an interesting/helpful fact you learned about LU after you came here? | Lawrence takes the term "liberal arts" to heart. We encourage and require students to explore a variety of disciplines in their first year and throughout their time here, even after they have chosen a major. |
| What is your favorite part about being a Lawrentian? | My favorite part about being a Lawrentian is feeling like I am part of a happy, healthy community. Everything that everyone does affects all of us, so it is comforting that most things people do affect us in a positive way. We encourage accountability and responsibility, two things that I think the world could use a little more of. |

| Which is your favorite resident hall? Why? | I live in Sage this year and it is definitely my favorite residence hall. It is right next to the campus center, plus my room this year looks right out onto Boldt Way so i get to see all of the exciting things that go on out there. |
| What is your fondest memory of your roommate from freshman year? | The first day of Freshman year, my roommate and I decided to go knock on some of our floor mates doors to introduce ourselves. This was such a purely college experience, and it really helped break the ice with other students but also with my roommate. |
| What is your favorite study spot on campus? | The Milwaukee-Downer Reading Room on the first floor of the library. But only if you're ok with the possibility of a nap on one of the extremely comfortable couches! |
| What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton? | Go to Sal's pizza. They are open late and the pizza is delicious. |

|
| If you were a crayon or paint swatch, what color would be you? Why? | I would be the crayon Purple Passion because I love purple and I am a passionate person. |
| If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose? | I would eat kit-kats because they are delicious and I babysit for a little girl that i call Kit-Kat. |
| What is an uncommon hobby you have? Why do you like it? | I like to do puzzles, then i glue them onto a piece of wood and mount them on the wall somewhere. |
| What was your favorite theme party thrown this year at LU, and what did you dress as? | This year for halloween i dressed as a robot. I had duct tubes for arms and i painted my face silver. it was great. |
