What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission?: The attention and care given to international students.
Who is your favorite professor (and their department) at LU? Why?: I have quite a few. (Clemons, Balsekar, Brozek) But if I have to pick one, it will be Marcia Bjornerud. She is just great!
What is the best course (and its department) that you have taken? Why?: Drawing. It reminded me of my love for drawing and painting
What one thing would you say is “The Lawrence Difference”?: The professors
What is an interesting/helpful fact you learned about LU after you came here?: Students are given a lot of authority.
What is your favorite part about being a Lawrentian?: Being an individual and not just a number.
Which is your favorite resident hall? Why?: Hiett! Bathrooms in each room.
What is your fondest memory of your roommate from freshman year?: Very caring person.
What is something you wish you would have brought with you freshman year?: Snacks and spices from Ghana!
What do you find most exciting about the new Campus Center?: The cinema.
What is your favorite study spot on campus?: As long as I have music, I can study anywhere.
What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton?: Eating at restaurants.
If you were a fruit, which would you be? Why?: Tangerine.
If you were a crayon or paint swatch, what color would be you? Why?: Pantone 681 C. English: Lilac. It is my favourite colour!
If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose?: I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I will settle with twix.
What is an uncommon hobby you have? Why do you like it?: Painting scenes or things that remind me of Ghana.
What was your favorite theme party thrown this year at LU, and what did you dress as?: Beach Bash
What is something LU helped you learn about yourself?: Coming to Lawrence has helped me learn to express myself better. Before Lawrence, I was terrified of public speaking but that has all changed. All the class presentations, group activities and various jobs have greatly built my confidence.
