| Who is your favorite professor (and their department) at LU? Why?: | Patrick Boleyn-Fitzgerald, in the philosophy and biomedical ethics department is my favorite professor so far. I always am engaged in his biomedical ethics classes, because he presents topics in such an interesting manner (and then we get to read the loooooong articles about them). He was the reason I choose to pick up the biomedical ethics minor. |
| What is the best course (and its department) that you have taken? Why?: | Understanding Harry Potter has been the most fun course that I have taken at LU by far. Even though it is just a university course, and did not count towards my major, it allowed me to discuss a passion of mine with others, and discuss Harry Potter in a way that I had never done before. Ed Kern did an excellent job in teaching the course, and my classmates always came up with excellent topics of conversation. |
| What one thing would you say is “The Lawrence Difference”?: | The fact that LU works hard and plays hard. People are just as committed to their extra curriculars as they are to their classes. It makes for a very dedicated student body. |
| What is your favorite part about being a Lawrentian?: | My fellow Lawrentians, be they faculty, staff or students. They are what makes my experience at LU great. |
| Which is your favorite resident hall? Why?: | Hiett. I got to live with my friends, we had our own bathroom, and I was close to Briggs, where most of my classes are. |
| What do you find most exciting about the new Campus Center?: | All the student space! There are so many places to sit and study or meet with people. |
| What is your favorite study spot on campus?: | A comfy chair in the Campus Center overlooking the Fox. |
| What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton?: | Eat a chicken pesto pizza at Harmony Cafe! |
| If you were a fruit, which would you be? Why?: | I would be a Pomegranate. I am difficult to access, and can be VERY messy. But I am definitely worth all the trouble. |
| If you were a crayon or paint swatch, what color would be you? Why?: | Skyfire. The purple-pink color of the clouds when the sun is setting. It's a color that is never the same twice, its always changing, always dynamic and always takes your breath away. |
| If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose?: | Toblerone. It's got chocolate and nougat. What else do you need? |
| What is an uncommon hobby you have? Why do you like it?: | I like to plan people's weddings. I like organizing, matching colors, picking dresses and flowers... |
