| Who is your favorite professor (and their department) at LU? Why? | Definitely Samantha George, my violin teacher. Great player but even a more excellent educator, Samantha has a whole science of building techniques written down, and she can help you achieving your goal with the violin and music. What is great about her is that she would never give up on any students and will support them any ways that she can. She is in my top 3 Lawrence experiences. |
| What one thing would you say is “The Lawrence Difference”? | Passion. I love how passionate Lawrentians are with the things that they pursue. This is why the campus activities and clubs are so strong because they are formed by the passions of students. |
| What is an interesting/helpful fact you learned about LU after you came here? | More is better than less. You never know when it would get cold here. |
|
|
| Which is your favorite resident hall? Why? | Plantz because it is so close to the Con. |
| What do you find most exciting about the new Campus Center? | The food is great, and the cafe always has the variety of options. |
| What is your favorite study spot on campus? | I study in the Con lobby where you can test your ability to pay attention. It is always likely somebody you know would walk by and say hi as well as music from the practice room. Good luck if you have perfect pitch. |
| What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton? | Dining off-campus. Appleton has a good number of delicious restaurants if you are into good food. |
|
|
| What is an uncommon hobby you have? Why do you like it? | I like to sit in the dark room and play Shostakovich Symphonies at the maximum volume. I end up having different visions every time I listen to a same piece. |
| What was your favorite theme party thrown this year at LU, and what did you dress as? | Co-op Halloween Party. My friend (a legit Wisconsin white girl) and I tried to be twins. |
| What is something LU helped you learn about yourself? | The constant interaction with professors and peers here have helped me to improve my social and communication skills. |
