What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission? To be able to be part of the Lawrence admissions and have the opportunity to show off Lawrence's beautiful campus.
Who is your favorite professor (and their department) at LU? Why? My favorite professor would have to be a professor from the economics department, professor Gerard. He makes every class interesting with his eagerness to teach his students about economics.
What is the best course (and its department) that you have taken? Why? My favorite course that I have taken is a government course on globalization. The reason this is my favorite class is because we went to up to Bjorklunden (Lawrence's 425 acre estate located on Lake Michigan) to do a model United Nations debate. We were split up into groups and given a country to argue for in the debate.
What one thing would you say is “The Lawrence Difference”? Lawrence is a small school with only about 1600 students, to be able to walk across campus and actually know almost everyone you pass by gives you a sense of security.
What is an interesting/helpful fact you learned about LU after you came here? Lawrence is a residential campus and about 98% of the students live on campus.
What is your favorite part about being a Lawrentian? The fact that I can go to a school and earn a great liberal arts education while having the opportunity to play football at the same time!

Which is your favorite resident hall? Why? Colman for sure! Colman is the only residence hall besides the upper classmen dorm Hyatt to have sinks in the rooms. Once you have a sink there's no going back.
What is your fondest memory of your roommate from freshman year? There are too many good memories of my roomate from freshman year, in fact we got along so we that we decided to be roomates again this year.
What is something you wish you would have brought with you freshman year? I wish I would have brought a bicycle with me last year. The campus isn't too big nor too small for bicycles, but there were always days where I wished I had brought my bicycle.
What do you find most exciting aout the new Campus Center? The fact that the Campus Center is open 24 hours a day. The library closes at 1 am and there have been countless time where I have been kicked out of the library and went to the Campus Center to finish studying.
What is your favorite study spot on campus? The 2nd floor of the library, because there are hidden areas where I can study by myself and not be distracted from others.
What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton? Seeing how i'm from Appleton, my favorite thing to do in Appleton is visit my family. Nothing better then a home-cooked meal!

If you were a fruit, which would you be? Why? An apple, because its hard on the outside but soft on the inside just like me.
If you were a crayon or paint swatch, what color would be you? Why? I would be the color yellow, because im bright and a very warm person.
If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose? Definitely a twix bar, because it has a combination of a cookie, carmel and chocolate.
What is an uncommon hobby you have? Why do you like it? One of my favorite hobbies is to go four-wheeling up north at my cottage.
What was your favorite theme party thrown this year at LU, and what did you dress as? My favorite theme party thrown this year at LU was Beta Beach Bash. I dressed up like I was at a beach on spring break.
What is something LU helped you learn about yourself? I believe the diversity of the different students at LU has made me expand myself with friendships and future goals of my life.
